About the Series
What if the tension between men and women did not begin with us?
In this four-part series, Olivia S. Benson explores the stories we inherited, the rules we absorbed, and the patterns we repeat in love, faith, family, and identity.
These conversations invite you to look beneath the surface. Not to blame. Not to defend. To understand.
Because healing between men and women begins when we are willing to question what we were taught.
Olivia’s Message
The relationship between men and women has been shaped by culture, family, religion, history, silence, and survival.
Many of us carry beliefs we never chose.
We carry ideas about womanhood.
We carry ideas about manhood.
We carry ideas about love, power, safety, faith, and belonging.
In this series, I open a thoughtful conversation about what it means to recognize those inherited stories and begin building something more honest.
This is not a quick answer.
It is an invitation to reflect.
Watch the Four-Part Series
Part One - The Raw Truth About The New Relationship Between Men And Women
Olivia begins the series by examining the beliefs many of us inherit before we ever have the language to question them. This conversation looks at how early stories about men, women, love, and worth can shape the way we relate to one another.
Part Two - The Stories We Inherited About Men and Women
Some patterns feel personal, but they often come from something older. In part two, Olivia explores how emotional habits, family dynamics, and cultural expectations can keep repeating in our relationships until we learn to see them clearly.
Part Three - The Expectations We Carry Between Men and Women
In part three, Olivia and special guest Austin Shission look at the unspoken rules that influence how men and women are expected to behave, love, lead, submit, protect, provide, and belong. This episode asks what happens when those rules no longer serve the people living under them.
Part Four - The Healing We Need Between Men & Women
The final part of the series turns toward faith, conditioning, and the image of God many women were handed. Olivia and special guest Marlon Hill invite viewers to question inherited beliefs and consider what it means to seek answers from within.
