A FREE GUIDE & WORKBOOK

Making peace with an absent father

I know how heavy that emptiness can feel. I carried mine for more than thirty years before I found my way through it. This is the free workbook I wish someone had handed me back then.

A NOTE BEFORE YOU START

Some of this might sound familiar

None of it was your doing. You didn’t make your father who he was. But the healing part can be yours.

WHAT'S IN IT

What you'll work through

It’s an 18-page workbook. You can type into it or print it out. Nothing is graded, and it’s yours alone.

01

Acknowledging the impact

The first step is simply naming it. It’s shorter and easier than you’d expect.

02

A bigger connection

A direct, personal line to Source, what I call G.E.F.S., for the days you feel alone in this.

03

Writing it out

Prompts that help you get the thoughts and feelings out of your head and onto the page.

04

A letter to your father

The letter you may never send. In the end it’s less about him than it is about you.

05

The forgiveness work

Not excusing what happened. Just setting down what it still costs you to carry.

06

A daily practice

A few affirmations and a short check-in, so you can keep going after the last page.

ABOUT ME

Olivia S. Benson

I’m Olivia. I’ve studied New Thought and Metaphysics for more than thirty years, and I’ve practiced law for just as long. I grew up feeling like an outsider, and it took me a long time to make peace with my father’s absence. I wrote about it in my book, For the Love of My Father, and I made this guide to hand you a few of the things I had to learn the slow way.

“You are capable of transforming your pain into power.”

It's free. It's a small way I can help.

You don't have to carry this alone

Take the guide and start whenever you’re ready. There’s no timeline here but your own.

Questions

Good to know

Yes. It’s a gift. Tell me where to send it and it’s yours.

No. G.E.F.S. is just a way of naming Source, however you understand it. The work meets you where you are.

Type into it on your phone or computer, or print it and write by hand. There’s no rush. Healing takes the time it takes.

It might. That’s part of it. The guide goes slowly and stays with you, one step at a time.
